Personally I’m not wanting badly. For me it’s more about the novelty; my rig is crazy powerful as it is. But the other reason: I want proper cooling. That’s where EVGA comes in. The company has just released it’s first set of AIO liquid cooling options for the RTX 3080 and 3090, the Hybrid and Hydro Copper.
Using Asetek’s AIO solution, these liquid cooling solutions for the 3080 and 3090 promise up to 34.9% lower load temperatures compared to air cooling. You’ll be able to crank out plenty of extra hertz and boost VRAM without breaking the bank. And both models allow for fully customizable RGB lighting to boot.
Along with EVGA’s Precision X1 software, you’ll be able to dynamically adjust your overclocking and fan settings, even in-game. The Hydro Copper has a thinner frame to take up less space in your rig while maintaining a large water block for top-grade cooling.
Currently EVGA is listing availability for the 3080 series and 3090 series as coming in December. There are plenty of options, with the RTX 3090 FTW3 Ultra Hydro Copper Gaming boasting an 1800MHz boost clock and a 3-year warranty. That may not be the GPU for you, but it’s just one of plenty of options.
