All we have is a photo. A single image and a promise: to stay tuned for October 28, when AMD reveals the company’s next-gen GPU. It’s so little to go off of, to work with, practically nothing. Especially in light of NVIDIA’s onslaught of news in high-end graphics performance.
Yet here we are. AMD isn’t backing down from the high end. Yet, weirdly, the teaser came in the form of a tweet and a Fortnite Creative Island. Yikes. I know Fortnite is popular but seriously, no high-end card is needed for that…uh, game. Don’t worry though, you don’t need to get it to see the details, savvy players have already shared it on Twitter.

Whatever the case, we’re looking forward to seeing what AMD has in store. NVIDIA’s already showed it’s hand with the GeForce RTX 3090, 3080, and 3070, all obliterating last-gen performance. We’ll see the first card release in just a few days. All three will be out by AMD’s announcement, so AMD has plenty of work as the underdog.
